Olympic level snatches can be in that range. I can’t snatch tht but as someone who can pick up a 225 with one arm(just off the ground, no ducktales), its definitely possible for people to do it but someone like Anatoly is the .1%.

If you're used to watching TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram videos, you've probably come across the thin-looking guy dressed as a janitor, in blue clothes, who effortlessly moves huge weights used by giant people around the gym, much to the surprise of most people.

If not, here's one of the popular videos from the prankster who has 11.6 million followers on Instagram:

These are not staged videos; we can assure that the weights used in the videos are real, as the guy is actually none other than Vladimir "Anatoly" Shmondenko, an elite powerlifter.

Anatoly's Biography
Shmondenko was born in August 1999 in a Ukrainian village. The 25-year-old influencer started training as a teenager, under quite unusual circumstances. Since there was no gym in his village, he put together his workout equipment from bricks, wood, and discarded metal parts. At the age of 14, he was inspired by bodybuilding YouTube videos, like many of us.

Young Shmondenko ate seven meals a day, with his diet mainly consisting of eggs and cottage cheese. His schoolmates laughed at him for carrying his food in a plastic container to school (even though he was doing it the right way).

In 2016, he moved to Kiev to continue his studies, and in 2018, at the age of 19, he participated in his first powerlifting competition, which was a regional powerlifting competition. The Ukrainian powerlifter finished first, and his second competition was a world championship, where he managed to win the bronze medal.

Here's a picture of him during the competition:

In 2020, Vladimir became an elite powerlifter after entering the top 10 in his weight class in squat, deadlift, and bench press, and he received the title of Master of Sports of International Class.

Meanwhile, he continued to produce YouTube videos and grow his following, but it was his prank videos that made him world-famous.

His recipe is the following: he dresses up as a janitor, grabs a mop, picks his "victim" - someone who is working with the heaviest weight they can - and goes to clean around them. When the unsuspecting lifter takes a break after the set, Anatoly goes to the weight, casually lifts it, moves it aside, and wipes the floor underneath. Without any warmup. Someone else records the scene, focusing on the bewildered faces.

Anatoly currently lives in Dubai, where he moved after the outbreak of the Russo-Ukrainian war. He has 3.26 million subscribers on YouTube. Anatoly is wealthy, owning several cars, including a BMW M8 and a Porsche 911. He has a beautiful girlfriend who is also an influencer, with 131 thousand followers on Instagram.

How strong is Anatoly really?
Anatoly is 181 centimeters tall and weighs 78 kilograms. Despite this, he is truly capable of moving inhuman weights. His best deadlift in his career is 290 kilograms, which is almost four times his body weight. His squat record is 210 kilograms (2.7 times his body weight), and his bench press is 145 kilograms (1.8 times his body weight).

As you can see, Shmondenko is strongest in deadlifting, which is why this exercise often appears in most of his prank videos.
