I think he ends up getting him. There are some insane people here that think he should get in before Gronk.

He'll get in due to playing for Dallas and his longevity.
Witten is first ballot.

Elite blocker and receiver. Not as physically gifted as Gronk but still effective.....and he did that shyt with Quincy Carter, Vinny Testaverde, Romo/Dak etc....not Tom Brady.

Because NBA discourse is rooted in deep hate or passionate stanning.

For instance if I say "That one poster who stans LeBron no matter what" or "That one poster who hates LeBron no matter what" you don't even know who I'm talking about because you can name 4-5 posters on for both statements.

And Burrow isn't overrated. He's this generations Dan Marino. Incredibly talented but will waste away because his front office and ownership are idiots. 20 years from now there will threads that Joe Burrow should have a ring but he never had help and someone will be in there arguing that he had Chase and Higgins and then name Hendrickson and some fringe defensive star trying to justify that Burrow had help.

There are easily 10 WRs better and should get in before him. Not to hate on him. And you’re right, he willl probably get in.
:manny:
Jimmy Smith and Tory **** were more dominant. Steve Smith and Reggie Wayne. I think Steve willl make it though.

U act like this is a line at the immigration office… Mike can skip to the front of the line bruh

How bout James "Deebo" Harrison, man was damn near about to be a bus driver before getting a shot and instead he put together this resume. Memorable momentum changing pick six in the Superbowl on top of

2× Super Bowl champion (XL, XLIII)
NFL Defensive Player of the Year (2008)
2× First-team All-Pro (2008, 2010)
2× Second-team All-Pro (2007, 2009)
5× Pro Bowl (2007–2011)
NFL forced fumbles leader (2008)

Homie below said exactly what I was coming to say:
He deserves to be in the Hall imo. Arguably the most dominant and complete LB in football between '08 and '10.
Him being THE best player at his position for a period in his prime makes this a lock for me. And i think he was great enough for long enough. 2008-10 was his peak but he was elite for longer than that.

John Abraham got the resume to get in one day in my opinion, and It's crazy John hasn't once been a semifinalist for the Hall of Fame in the 7 years he's been eligible.

3× First-team All-Pro (2001, 2008, 2010)
5× Pro Bowl (2001, 2002, 2004, 2010, 2013)

133.5 sacks which is 18th all-time

Terrell Suggs will get in before John so I'll be interested in seeing how it goes

Those are two really good ones.

Abraham never got talked about the way some other players at his position did, but he was an excellent player, his accolades show that. I'm going to say he doesn't get in as there's a lot of competition at that position, and I think some other bigger names will overshadow him.

Suggs is an interesting one. Not everything comes down to having all-pro awards, but he "only" has two, one being second team. However, he does have DPOTY award which carries a lot of weight. Won a Super Bowl the following year. It's a tough one because part of my thinks he gets in down the road with him being a defensive player on the Ravens and have that allure. However, he also had a few off the field issues which voters may let influence them.

Good choices for this thread.

Here are a few others with my thinking if they are HOF worthy.

Vince Wilfork (No)
Justin Smith (No)
Luke Kuechly (Absolutely)

One more is Richard Sherman, and I think he probably gets in although I think he was not as great as he and some others believe.

Agreed.

Sherm getting in eventually but shouldn't be first ballot. Same with Russ. Russ might be going out sad but his 10 pro bowl selections are the 6th most all time at QB tied with ARod. He's getting in.

Dirty scumbag gets a no from me dog

I can see the argument either way for Harrison. He definitely had him "dirty" moments, but he was an integral part of two Super Bowl winning teams. He should have rocked David Tyree though.

That is a name I haven't heard in a while.
