For most people. If you have a timeshare you can use at anytime or the type that has shares in other states and countries and you have the time to travel then go for it.

My mom and I went to a presentation last weekend. It's definitely not worth the price. It's nice to have a vast array of options to choose from via "sister locations" but we really weren't impressed. What pissed us off was when it came time for our final answer on purchasing, it turned into some hassling car salesman shyt. I think they thought they could intimidate us or use trickery to throw out numbers and we'd get confused and bite. WRONG! We'll take our little freebies and leave.

Plus a lot of people I know who have them either don't use them or are trying to sell them. :camby:

The last time i went to one, the first thing i told homie was "I'm not buying anything so I don't know if you just want to sit here and waste time or what" He opted to "chill" with us for the time and STILL tried to get us to buy something:mjlol: Then brought out the "diamond executive boss boss" to try and convince us to change our mind....Dude got pissed like "So you just came here to scam us out of freebies" I was like :feedme:

Same :russ: I want to know who that tactic works on? Can't intimidate me to give you money for something I don't want. Kept trying to lower price. Eventually I had to say I have the yearly fees in full and then some on me right now, it's not about the money.

Yeah, I think they're scams.

I know a couple people who are happy with theirs. One was this middle-aged white dude who was a golfer who just liked going to his same damn time share at some renowned golf course multiple times a year. The other is a couple who are just automatically happy with the "resort experience" and have money to burn.

But in both cases they got a "good" time share and they are the type of people who are happy with that sort of thing. I think most people are bound to be disappointed, and even if you like it you'll get screwed over financially in 90% of cases.
