Thats point! The input that developers are using are based off of algorithms designed after white/asisiatic modeling. So when the AI is processing all sorts of data of a particular subject, if it has less models to process in order to determine likely path of outcome, it will probably resort to the most cost effective.
There was already an article where AI effected the quality of care for black Americans in a negative fashion by assigning them low intensity treatment options for the same quality of illness their white counterparts had.
