The Die-mobile. You are going to die if you get into a vehicle accident. Cars have crush zones and sturdy frames. That adds to the weight. Th Elio is light weight and doesn't need a big engine to power it. That's why it is very fuel efficient. Much like a motorcycle, you chances of getting injured in a minor fender bender is higher than in a car, and you chances of dying in a major accident are higher.

Must-have 2: Uncompromised Safety
Elio is engineered to the highest safety standards. Each Elio comes equipped with a Safety Management System that includes three airbags – a reinforced roll-cage frame, Anti-Lock Braking System, and 50% larger crush zones than similar vehicles.

I'm going to withold judgment on this contraption until I see one in person, but this pixelated representation on a 1080x1098 transmitted through fiber optic does not resonate any feelings within the realm of enthusiasm

I don't think the elio car will ever come out. They been pushing that car for a few years and keep pushing back the release date.
