Let's face facts. Two middle of the road(at best) Big 12 teams entered the SEC and entirely changed their culture. What happened to all the defensive battles? What happened to having defenses that were a class above defenses in the rest of the conferences?

Now they are lauding these "shootouts" with hardly any defense being played as classics when the big 12 and Pac 12 to some degree have been having games like these for years.

:skip: 59-42 was the final score in the CC. :comeon:

Let's talk about it brehs....

theres always been shootouts in the SEC, Auburn been on that steez for years

Bama, LSU, Vandy and SCar finished in the top 20 in total D. Florida and Ole Miss were victims of terrible offenses keeping them on the field, i think it downticks a bit next year with alot of senior QB's leaving.

I was always suspected about the offense that was in the SEC, people talk a lot about the defense in the conference and rightly so but the offense left much to desired. Heck Louisville came in a smacked the number the number 1 defense in Florida last year. I always contended that they don't face a lot of solid offenses.

How have we changed the SEC culture? A&M and Mizzou? :ohhh:

Sumlin and johnny never played in the Big 12. So there's that. :comeon:Mighty C-USA was pumping out these coaches like Fedora and Sumlin.

Mizzou was never a bottom feeding program like Iowa or Kansas State. They were consistently ranked and a winning program.

What exactly has changed in the SEC for teams to continue winning and going to the Championship? Auburn recruited their players before A&M and Mizzou got there. So I don't understand that logic. If Auburn scored so much it was because that was the flow of the game. If a Van Gundy defense drops 120+ on a night, that doesn't mean jack squat except that's what the momentum of the game was. The Bama games wasn't anywhere near that score.

I guess the SEC IQ level is rubbing off on you. Keep reading my original OP and thinking about it and eventually you'll understand.
