Are y'all the same complexion, lighter or darker than your parents

I'm dark skinned but my dad is light brown and my mom is brown skin. I've got siblings in all ranges from light to dark.

Just thinking about it's weird how genetics work u can have two light skinned parents that come out with a dark baby

Like, I take after my mom in pretty every way, we're both brown skinned & my dad is reaaaaaaally dark skinned, Im talking blue black. The funny thing is tho, both his parents were high yellow. Genetics man, I tell you
