You asked for sources. I provided sources then you discredited NFL.com ESPN and bleacher report. Now the sources don't count? There is a gray area between HOF and bust but playing 4.5 years as the best QB prospect since Elway is a bust. Then the QB they ditched to get him ended up winning a SB in Denver.

I asked for sources, to try and show you how pointless it is to judge a player based on media expectations. A player isn't a bust based on his ability to live up to what the media decides. We don't need to call up unknown bleacherreport bloggers to form an opinion.

Luck got the same set of expectations as any other QB drafted in his position. Trying to call him a bust because you inflated the expectations due to media hype is flawed reasoning to me.

So if Bron only played 4 seasons and never made the finals he wouldn't be a bust because he was just another number 1 overall pick? Bust is based on potential

So to be clear, whether or not we determine if a player is a bust, is based on how much potential the media decides they have? I don't put too much value in their projections, so I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

PS: Luck did have immediate success considering he set the record for most passing yards in his first few seasons and also having more touchdowns in his first few seasons than pretty much anyone except Marino. Throwing 40 TDs at 25 years old and leading the Colts to three straight playoff appearances.

But yeah let's call him a bust because he got injured playing behind a bad oline, and also didn't do a good enough job living up to what the media had to say about him. Seems wise.
