To be honest with you people (family, friends and aquaintances) tell me this all the time. BUt i dont get it. Maybe because i'm my own toughest critic. I tend to look at my life like a failure in some ways. It might be because im obsessed with comparing myself to my father and i feel i dont measure up to him and his life accomplishments.

I'm the one that the homies look at before making a choice and are like Ok, maybe I shouldn't.

i work with kids in compton and inglewood in the way of gang prevention, it turns a def ear because i'm not dr.dre or kendrick lamar and just work 40 hours a week in which young blacks don't want to have or can imagine because everyone dreams is basketball, football, rapper, model, etc, etc..which as a teenager is good, but i try to tell them not everyone will make it but they just nikka.....

it doesn't help that u have drug dealers, gang members and hood hoes with ballers glamorizing negative shyt that continue to ruin blacks..

positive blacks i have notice for decades continue to run from the hood instead of grouping together and getting rid of these cancers in our community...and it will continue even when we all dead and gone

My parents taught me to be encouraging and always be happy for someone else blessings .

Inspiration. I hear more good I do for people than negative. I'm the type to never complain about my issues or shyt just because I don't want people in my business. I dont want to drain people. Plus, that type of energy is draining in itself to myself. I give compliments to people (and mean them). I love seeing people feel good about themselves. I don't consider it "gassing". I hate self pity, like people talking about how "ugly" they are. Everyone call fall into the ugly category or overrated. Also, being different is a powerful force and it shouldn't be looked at as a bad thing just because you don't fit into a forced box that others can manipulate themselves into better. I only want positivity around me. I also watch what I say to people I love. I give everyone respect.

The proble with being an influence is... the few times or few people you want to influence always seem to just wanna do their own thing. And it's annoying as fukk when you see them digging themselves into a hole because they swear they know better only for their dumb sh!t to backfire. At which point you wanna laugh in their face but dont wanna be that a$$hole. Then again mofos know this and they'll do their best to HIDE their failures from you

Me - Dont listen to your clown ass friends and buy that Jaguar. You cant afford that $30K car with your under $60K salary
Them - I got this. It's only $600 a month. It's gonna be lit!!

Me - What hapenned to the Beemer?
Them - I crashed it. Took the insurance money and bought this little Benz.
2 years later after the Benz is repoed still owing $20K+ on it
Me - Damn you switched to a Lexus now. Giving up on German Engineering?
Them - Yeah...Benz was a bad deal. Was way underwater so I let them repo it and got this

Please Note that the scenario i ilustrated above is a true story. This cat is selling me all the bullshyt not knowing my jumpoff (his sister) tells me all his business.

At least his baby mom got money out the ass so she can take care of thier 2 boys on her own while he digs himself into a deeper hole as time goes by. Never understood why women with great careers sometimes fall for knuckeheads. And she super cute too. Thick brazilian brawd.

His preliminary trial tomorrow for 3 felonies no bail. You're actions can make a "lil homie" go down the right path or inspire a few of ya people to get out.
