like I said in the other thread, what really got Ross in trouble was his "explanation."

If Ross had just either given a genuine apology or explained what he "really meant" he'd still get some criticism, but not nearly as much as he's getting now. but he tried to play it too cool and gave a stupid asss answer.

that's why in their statement, Reebok said they didn't believe Ross actually condoned date rape, just that they didn't think he had a real understanding of it.
