Honestly I think the smaller tracks (Bristol, Richmond, Martinsville) are where you find the most entertaining racing. That's where the speeds are much slower but the cars are more packed together since it's hard to pass without bumping or shoving someone out the way. Someone always ends up scrapping because they're hot that they got bumped, or worse, got into a wreck. Daytona and Talladega are interesting only because folks know that a big wreck can come out of nowhere.
Daytona is set up better for Danica to have success. In racing at tracks like that it's mainly about your equipment. If you can run fast, you can stay up near the front and avoid trouble from the middle of the pack for the most part. Shorter tracks, that goes out the window. You need good equipment, but you also need to know when to chill and when to go ham. And if you go ham, you need to know who you can and can't rock with. If you are with a long money team, you have access to better resources and equipment (mainly engines). It's like the difference between being able to play for the Yankees or Dodgers as opposed to the Twins.
I'm dying to see what happens, though, the first time that she gets bumped out the way on the track, and she tries that lil pissy attitude out.
