Are you happy you grew up with or without a father?

To all my fatherless brehs, would you say you're happy to not have had a father in your life? I for one am very much grateful to NOT have had a father in my life. I never understood how boys and men grow up hating and resenting their fathers for not being around. Like wtf? That's one less authority/parental figure you have to deal with. Growing up all my friends who had fathers looked so stressed and always had to worry about what their dad might say. Always had to worry bout their dad whooping they ass and punishing em for some shyt. I looked at that shyt as a huge disadvantage and have always been grateful to not have a father.

To all my brehs who grew up with fathers, are you happy that you had one or you wish you could've did without em? I know it sounds like a weird ass question cuz you probably love ya dad, but I don't know what that's like so it's legit to me.

i wish i didnt have a father. my dad is a slave to religion and he chose the worst religion of all. plus he didnt have parents so he doesnt kno how to raise a child. growing up i had to sacrifice alot of things so my father could have a good standing in his church. my life would have been a lot smoother...

I dont know breh. I couldn't imagine life without my dad (R.I.P). Me and him were close since when he and my mom first separated they agreed that he would have custody of of me until i was old enough. So from the age age of 9-15 i lived alone with my dad because my mom had moved to another country. So we were really close.

I love my mom too but i was much closer to my dad than i am my mom

Yes I'm happy I grew up with a father, one who showed me love and discipline. One who showed me that hard work pays off, my dad dropped out of school in gr 6, yet became a welder and woke up at 5am every morning and came home at like 6pm and never ever complained. Saved and saved and saved and worked hard and took us out of a roach infested apartment in a ghetto ass area into some bungalow house, worked hard while my mom was in school for nursing.

I'm happy I grew up with my father, because he gave me that tough love, and he's been there for me and my mom all our life, so I salute him for that.

I'm so glad I had my Dad in my life He did a lot for me and set a great example for me.

He passed Sunday. We're having his funeral this Saturday.
