I'm not in favor of them or against them because I don't care about what other people do with their relationships. For me I prefer not allowing gender to decide how people live and what they're allowed to do.

The whole idea of women cooking and cleaning while men protect and provide for example seems limiting to me. Anybody should be able to step up when needed to regardless of their gender.

The coli men want traditional roles when it comes to a woman cooking, cleaning, keeping her mouth shut and letting her man lead, and raising the kids. But he has no problem with a woman working, a woman paying on dates, or giving it up to a man that ain't her bf.

This. You want to follow gender roles cool, if you dont, cool. If you want to follow them sometimes and not follow them most of the time that's cool too. Do what you want.

Not really no...the best person for the job does it.

If she's a better cook than me then she cooks and vice versa.

Traditions are subjective, situational, and generally made to be broken. Usually thru technological and social advancement.

Back in the day, few had personal transportation, work was generally labor intensive, and worker rights were nonexistent. Didnt make sense to have mothers walking miles to work an unforgivable job in a brutal factory. Now everyone has a car, and drives to an air conditioned office to sit on their ass for 8 hours. Work isnt gender specific anymore. More importantly, few occupations can support a household on one income comfortably. E'yone gotta work.

And when it comes to shyt like cooking and cleaning --- anyone can google a recipe on their phone. Recipes arent handed down from generation to generation in some ratty old cookbook, and given to the girl of the family on her 13th bday anymore. And whoever says they cant pick up after themselves because they are a "man" is a stupid a$$hole.

Basically, times change. "Gender role traditions" dont make much sense anymore.
