We increased our net worth by $1 million in 6 years and retired early: Here's our best advice
Strategically making lifestyle cuts to increase your savings and investments so you can exit the workforce earlier than normal.
I'm one toe in and one out. I still spend a lot of money on dumb shyt like cell phones and headphones but for the most part my spending is controlled. I invest and save more and more of my income now.
Not cutting my own hair or only eating home prepared meals though. I do drive a 2016 Honda Civic with $6800 still due on it and will likely drive it till it falls apart. This is coming from a 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue I drove until 2019 when it literally almost killed me I drove it so long. The power steering went out and the break lines ended up rusting out and leaked all the break fluid. The repairs were more than the car was worth forcing me to upgrade.
I'm a cheap b*stard so it helps me save money all over the place. Thinking about taking on more Fire like behavior.
