The worst part about this is the whole "this time it matters" bullshyt. They should have done away with giving fans 100% vote for starters when they went to the bullshyt ASG winner having home field advantage in the World Series.

I'm not planning on voting. I heard about the royals taking up almost the entire team. I think the cardinals also had about 4 or 5 starters leading too. It's been a joke last few years. There's always complaints when fans vote for all stars. Whether in mlb or nba. I say one year they just let the players vote and rules are it can't be someone from your own team. Let's see how that would go. Now all the teams play interleague so they see the other league too. What better way to make an all star team than voted by your peers that play against you. No coaches, media, gm, nothing. I bet some underrated players would make it instead of being snubs.

Don't you ever compare Derek Jeter to Asdurable Cabrera or alcides Escobar. Jeter was/is by far the face of the MLB and one of the most popular players. At his worst he wasn't putting up those terrible batting numbers
