Are your parents proud of you?

So as I'm cleaning up my apartment I randomly started thinking about how my mom and dad feels about where I am in my life right now. I haven't done much but have done enough (graduated high school, graduated from from my IT program, got a couple of certs/ awards) to where they can be proud that I'm trying to make a living and better myself.

If you had to guess, how do you think yall parents feel about the things you've accomplished?

I hope so.

I make more $$ than they did at any point in their lives.

I have a spouse and kids

I have a mortgage

I graduated college

I don't have any illegitimate kids (that I know of)

Mama/Papa did good

When I found out I was making just as much if not more than my mom made me realize that she really the one who set me up for success through her sacrifices

I just started my life so to speak in December by moving out, and just by that they said they were.

Can only imagine how they will react from here on out. worth the sleepless nights.

I never caused her heartache by being in some fukk shyt like so many other kids were.
No drugs, no baby mama drama, no gang activity, never stole from her, never snuck out the house or anything if she grounded me...

Im always trying to self improve, been copping highr paying jobs every 6-8 months while pursuing passions. All said, I don't deserve any of it cause

I didn't turn out to be shyt at this point in my life. I hope before she leaves this earth I give her that one moment to really smile at and yell out "That's my son."

I feel it, but I think any parent will be proud regardless. All they really want to see is their children stay away from jail, drugs, and violence

Its not enough. My mother moved mountains to take care of us, and all I can offer her in return is that I didn't get in much trouble Not enough for me anymore. Her health is in the shytter and one day I can wake up, wonder why she is still sleeping, and realized she passed. Imagine her last memory of her son being me raving over the next just-above minimum wage job I get. I gotta give her something to brag about.

Arthritis and persistent pains in odd places. Regular blood transfusions because she will be dangerously low, and possible misdiagnosis on why she has these symptoms. She mentioned at one point needing to get tested for Lyme disease.
