He is washed up. His ego is way too large. If he really wanted to make waves he'd start by changing his image, then focus more on engaging with people through new media. Podcasts, an entertaining Twitter account, YouTube interviews on his own channel with other comedians etc.
He mentioned having a podcast on the video, as far as making waves in his career, i dont get it.....he was on a hit show, made more money than most of the population, is still recognizable fame wise......

not being popular/relevant hurts these celebrities soooooo bad, i don't know why they cant be happy with what they had.....Ive seen him in person, he's funny and when he comes to Houston people still buy tickets to see him and enjoy his shows......like damn what else u need? :yeshrug: As you mentioned he could easily do all those things you suggested :wow:

the dubai story is kinda impressive. still, of what ive seen his stand up aint never been that funny. whens the last time reruns of madtv actually aired? do kids today even know who he is?
