The trap hi hat sequencing and that sample on Magdelene is so jarring in an interesting, dope way


Another dope album this year for Billy. Lyrically this kind of reminds me of Pray For Haiti in terms of references and lyrics being more palatable, less abstract. I don't like the phrase "dumbed down" because that's clearly not what either rapper did. There are def tracks on here I can play for certain homies without being hit with "nikka if you don't turn these dissertation raps off."
