Dude...

...you don't think it's a little messed up that Dr. Boyce made a video
"Here are some problems with the N.W.A. movie, 'Straight Outta Compton'"

...and he admits HE HASN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET??
Are you really serious, B?
you obviously didn't watch the vid or else you would know that that vid wasn't specifically about the movie, it was about N.W.A, a group that's been around for 25+ years and that he was around to witness in their prime. So, no its not messed up. He's old enough to be qualified to speak on N.W.A the group and their impact on hiphop and on society in general. Maybe he should have titled the vid differently, but its not about the movie at all. @ridedolo whats that other Boyce vid you posted recently in another thread? I never watched it and forget what thread it was in. It was about the subconscious

Its the same thing with these "black leaders", wash, rinse, repeat.

Guy comes off very self-important, not sure why he has a following?

LOL I did watch the vid, which I was I said what I did.

I know the vid was about N.W.A. more than the movie, BUT THE TITLE SAYS THE VIDEO WAS ABOUT THE MOVIE.
Then he said (because the watched the video) that he hadn't seen the movie yet.
That's the whole reason anybody would click on the damn video!
That is the textbook definition of "Bait And Switch", and yeah that is messed up.

I remember when this man approached me in a a record store in Atlanta and asked me to come be apart of his "church"

I didn't like the energy.

Jesus H Christ it's a fukking movie. shyt, if ur tryna get nutrition from a mfn movie America ain't scheduled for ur dumb ass in the first place. Library be right down the damn street AND the innanet got the equivalent of a million libraries a swipe away, but no, let's act like dumb nikkas n pretend this is 1975 n we gotta get our info from Hollywood Jews.:beli:

nikkas be beta'd the fukk out 24/7 with they hand n they chest out all the damn time. Ol fukk nikka gon give a fake ass compliment at the beginning of his sucka ass essay then start that smart dumb nikka routine on some snake shyt.

Donald Up Like Trump bout to get elected with a platform of "fukk it, let's kick even the legal Mexicans out this bytch!", fukk u think these crackers bout to do to ur Act guzzlin Worldstar fast food fightin on camera ass? nikka, the rent is too damn high. We got real ass problems out here, fukk on complainin about a goddamn movie.:what:

Some of these "conscious" fukkbois don't even realize they are equally decoys as the so called poision:mjcry:....We already had a Black Panther Movie, had a Malcolm X movie and didn't shyt change, you know why?because movies don't change shyt:mjlol:....Public Enemy already came out, concious rap was very popular at one point, and crim was also at all time highs, you know why?Because music don't change shyt.

Chuck D gave you the diagnosis on how sick shyt would get if the communities didn't get cleaned up,and mindsets didn't change,Malcolm,Marcus Garvey,Fred Hampton,Huey gave you the diagnosis....Being that the actual ACTIONS,of the likes of the Black Panthers and Civil Rights movements were sabatoged by white supremecy as well as lack of fathers, teaching, education the proper changes were never made.....NWA aint just pop up out of nothing and spread some poison...how can you be mad Chuck D and these other mens predictions came true when nothing was done to stop it from coming true?Your mad at NWA and the state of our community when its simply prophecy come true when proper ACTION wasn't taken.

The "sensible" people as somebody called them, spent a lot of time debating and listening to nikkas talk about a cure but not taking action....now today we have cats blaming hiphop as the cause of all of our ills, out of all the problems that need to be fixed that would make hiphop irrelevant...First of all if muthafukas is dumb enough to go sell crack because they heard Young Jeezys album, that nikka needs some serious guidance, education and possibly another way to eat unless of course he's just doin it for fun because he loves young Jeezy:troll:...But no,we will spend no time thinking of ways to do that, lets just get rid of young jeezy music and all of our problems will cease:whoa:....If black people need to be taught by various forms of entertainment like movies and entertainers(rappers) we got bigger problems some of you refuse to talk about, why?

Because this convo about hiphop being the true poison is more popular to have maybe?I don't see how you truly go through the list of issues in the black community, problems that existed prior to hiphop that simply went unchecked, how the hell do you trace this shyt back to hiphop as the root unless you got an agenda:sas1:?Or lack some common sense.

How do you ignore shyt was far worse with "conscious" rap at its peak and at the forefront:dahell:? If your argument is that hiphop is the almighty tool of change when used properly,no its not and anybody that's JUST RAPPING,aint all that dangerous....whats next he gon get mad at the Dangerous Crew?

I salute the conscious rappers who have something to say,but they basically preaching to the choir of "sensible negroes" what good is that? a artist like Cube was far more effective than a damn Arrested Development in reaching who needed the message the most, but at the end of the day,its still just music:francis:...wheres the movements, wheres the action?

If Speech were to debate NWA on these very issues he has raised, he would win that debate and embaress them. NWA would look like Asap Rocky at oxford trying to justify the n word to a bunch of cacs.
And he's right, the only thing you can defend about nwa is 'fukk tha police'..
Speech isnt saying anything different to what Chuck D is saying today. So people have a problem more with the messenger than the message.
