Yeah, whenever I watch interview pre 1980 you will see that. Watch a Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, or Jim Brown interview and pay attention to their vocabulary and grammar.

When athletes today speak (even when they try to present themselves well) it is no where near the same.

I think it is a sign of the lower quality of our education and the low importance people place on education in our community.
