Artists who keep making the same song over and over again?

Imagine if artists had a pie chart which displayed their range, themes and content that you could check with a glimpse.

There would be a whole load of "legends" out here with a handful of tracks that they kept on recycling ad infinitum. Worse still the audience bought in to the hype even though they stayed getting fleeced, creatively speaking.

Who pops into your head and why upon clicking this thread? Also, not a pie chart but related nonetheless:

Same with producers as well because a whole load of them are chart chasing whilst remaking their last hit. When did music become so entirely formulaic in your opinion? Has it always been that way except now they don't even pretend to conceal it?

The problem is the hip hop/rap fan isn't a fond of its artists taking chances...

You hear Nas and it's the same set of producers that everyone mentions...

If Nas said he was gonna link up with metroboomin, some of these nikkas would be too distraught to even function at work the next day

They wouldn't even give the project a fair chance cuz it didn't sound like something off his old stuff..

And it goes that way across the genre..

Artists want to take chances, but the fans won't even give it a chance because they doing something like this or it isnt the status quo..
