unlikely but in principle possibly. i worked in tokyo before and it is not that bad.

it's pretty low crime, peaceful, clean etc.

lot's of racist ideas in the population though.

I've been there a few times, the people there are generally chill, you need to be fluent in Japanese though to make the most of it.

I've always wanted to see their districts like Akihabara and Nakano Broadway, but those are only day trips at best.

I'd be cool with staying out there for a few months for job purposes tho.
