I wouldn't recommend getting a king kong looking one like that which you posted but a chill gorilla would be cool. They aren't usually going ham the vast majority of the time in the wild.
It's your life, do what you want but if you have any hesitations, you probably shouldn't do it. It's costly and painful to have them removed, and there's no covering that up with another tattoo design.
