Panama was really nice. It’s very Americanized too a lot of foreign nationals there. But learn at least some Spanish to have a more authentic experience

I know they use USD but how is the cost of an average plate of food. average plate of food is about $10. I had some good food for $6 at Nikos cafe (open 24-7/ mad locations)

What type of budget would you say for a 5 day trip. $100 x day is very comfortable. Drinks are cheap (beers in a bar $3 ive even seen $2). bottles of liquor in the store are less than $20. beers in the store are like 55 cents they only thing i saw that was close to american prices is alot of the food in the grocery store

I stayed in a hotel, a suite with a full kitchen and laundry and it was like 600 for 5 days after fees and taxes. there is cheaper shyt too. i stayed with family the other two days. Hotel is torres de alba. ONLY stay in the newer updated tower.

Ya, but these nikkas not gonna be in the barrio tho unless they know people. Probably just gonna be in Panama City at a hotel.

Another thing, a lot of the black Panamanians have Jamaican ancestry. Many yardies came and stayed after the canal was finished. You can clearly tell from the food and culture especially in Colon.
