Kobe is the only player in the league that owned TD

And we all know if Kobe had Pop for 20 yrs & a solid supporting cast the way Tim did, he would’ve won 7 rings

You’ll really try to make it seem like kobe has to carry squads he always had top notch talent around him and that’s no knock on his greatness

Paper thin. My deciding factor:

Game 7

Down 3

2 seconds left

You're not giving the ball to Duncan are you?

My point being, they're both going to win your team games in the fashions they're known for. But it's at instances like that's where where the shooter favored. Duncan can practically be ignored for the given instance whereas the other team's best player wouldn't be given identical circumstances.

:mjlol: So with this logic you’d take Nash over shaq too

Not every superstar is built to carry 25+, facilitate the offense, be the top defender and close games

You don't think the burden of having to do all those things would wear on a great player? And before you say it, LBJ has never been able to do all 4 simultaneously...when he finally learned how to close games he couldn't defend and when he was able to defend, he couldn't close games.

I think centers are overrated in general tbh, especially today.

If you have a rebounding wing player who can score (like Durant) you're good. Especially if they can take that rebound and instantly become and offensive threat like Kobe, Lebron, Jordan and Durant can I personally think that adds a ton more value than a center who shuts down the paint in this era. Also because of more 3 point jump shots it means longer rebounds that go beyond where most centers are positioned. Would love to see numbers on that: do centers rebound more missed 3 pointers than wings and guards? This would explain why Westbrook gets so many boards, over 1/3 total shots are 3 point attempts.

another thing is tim duncan is arguably the GOAT at his position.

kobe is NOT the GOAT at his position. there's no argument about that.

So Duncan wasn't clutch? Name a big man who's hit more clutch shots than TD
