I always wonder if this movie has the same impact on folks who didn't grow up with a dad around. It's a cool story regardless.

and the assasination scene when he got killed infront of his wife and kids....wow

As a Black man, if you could'nt relate to fruitvale in some way then idk man......not even on a first hand tip but just in general i've seen it way to much......too close to home...smh yo R.I.P. to the fallen. But yeah, movie gets me everytime.
