I used to see all my fatherless friends get to spend the night at their friends house whenever they wanted. Run the streets all hours, no curfew.

They used to be able to talk all kinds of shyt to their moms and never had to worry about getting the beats when Dad got home

They're mom would buy them all kinds of shyt and giving them 20s and 10s all the time.

Every time there pops came around it was always to do fun shyt Disneyland, Knotts, Six Flags. Or they'd come back and have all kinds of new shyt.



Now that I'm older thinking like that is silly but when I was a kid

My pops was strict as shyt and so was my uncle. My cousin that didn't have a dad growing up used to always be like, "I'm glad I don't have a dad, because y'all dad don't let you do shyt."

My dad was strict and if I wasn't working I was watching tv. He wouldn't let me go out, we were always poor but I used to think my moms had all the money and my dad just didn't want to let her spend it.

Now I'm grateful for my dad, but as a youngster I was always happier when it was just me and my mom.
