I know this isn't a new thing but as somebody who grew up on the game and always looked forward to football Sunday's like a kid on Christmas it hurts me how badly they've ruined the game.

The product on the field is awful. The teams aren't very good at all aside from a few. The fundamentals are at an a time low. The flags destroy any flow to the games. The numerous injuries also ruins the flow and kills teams seasons.

I have no idea what a penalty is or isn't anymore. ever play I assume a flag is coming.

The teams are becoming homogenized Back in the day teams had distinct styles and identities now everyone plays the same way. and the games now blend into each other and every game seems like the last you watched.

Gambling keeps me into it but it's sad that the NFL has ruined what was once a great game. And I only see it getting worse because of the NFL trying to protect itself.

Product is boring and overanalyzed I swear though every time I go out on Sundays these white/Mexicans been out of control like life on the line like damn I didn't know the Browns/Redskins game was so serious NFL got that demo by the balls especially the Mexicans they love that shyt as much as soccer out here where I live.

This is the most bored I have ever been watching football. This season just hasn't been exciting at all. No storylines, no more superstar running backs taking over games, horrible quarterback play, and poorly played games in general.

The NFL has sucked the life out of a good product.

I love the homogenized line you had. It's true. You used to look to teams for certain things. Certain people were entertainers and brought fans in. Now, you can't dance, celebrate, differentiate yourself in NO WAY. Have different color laces? Wanna shout out a sick kid you made a connection with at a NFL sanctioned charity event with some cool cleats? Nope, no way no how.

The game has gone so corporate. Like homie said, the overanalysis (I mean, we taking super bowl predictions after wk 1? :dahell:) is ridiculous. NFL refusing to pay the hurt retirees, instead they try and change the game too damn late and continue making billions while stiffing those that gave their bodies for the game.

Partially, the game has evolved, the QB position is played way differently than ever before. That's some of why the product is different. What I truly hate, is these retreads that continue to get jobs instead of putting some new (and colored) blood in some of these positions.

Agreed. Cancelled Sunday ticket a couple years ago. The product is terrible. Goodell has to be the worst thing to happen to the league.

Yeah I'm glad I never got the Sunday Ticket I have more fun following games on gamecast and doing other shyt vs watching games these days. Raiders/Ravens was the first game I really watched in full this season just cause I'm a Raven fan I'm not gonna get all amped to watch some laggy stream to watch Justin Tucker kick 4 fgs vs jobbers weekly ill do other shyt.

QB position is fukking terrible right now RB position might as well be dead when I see games featuring Cody Kessler vs Kirk Cousins and the score 31-20 I know shyt jumping the shark.

But you may have a point.
College football this year so far has been way better than the NFL.

I don't even think CFB has been all that amazing this year there are only about 7 legit title contenders right now a lot of the bluebloods are terrible and defense is as bad as ever for plenty of top programs. I'm glad that Louisville/Clemson lived up to the hype CFB gonna get better with conference play heating up. I'm glad to see schools like Washington and Tennessee even Texas A&M making noise time for some fresh contenders.
