I believe consequences can fix most of the issues.. Not overnight, but gradually. Look at the school shootings that happen in this country. 9.9/10 it's a student that was bullied by their peers.
I dont want my children in an environment that turns a blind eye to bullying or sweep it under the rug. Chances are, if they ignore it with my kid, they're ignoring it with someone else's and the ramifications of doing so can be deadly.
