I'm getting my kids up outta there.

I'm speaking with the principal.

If they don't fix the issue, we're switching schools.

how do you fix the issue tho. Kids are naturally a$$holes and they’re KIDS. They dont even know the full ramifications of teasing
I believe consequences can fix most of the issues.. Not overnight, but gradually. If not, they can try their luck at alternative schools, homeschool them or send them to Juvie.

It depends. If they are trying to fight my kid, then definitely. If 1 or 2 talking shyt, I'll give my kid some nice little comeback pointers.

Like "my mama and daddy said they love me and hope I had a good day at school today, what did your grandmama tell you?"

Or "I know my hair a little rough today, thanks for telling me. I like your shoes and your whole fit. Your mom's must love you cuz they look better than her Altima."

Or "least my mama don't pull the graveyard shift on Bissonet"

The above. Bullying needs to have consequences.

Look at the school shootings that happen in this country. 9.9/10 it's a student that was bullied by their peers.

I dont want my children in an environment that turns a blind eye to bullying or sweep it under the rug. Chances are, if they ignore it with my kid, they're ignoring it with someone else's and the ramifications of doing so can be deadly.

Why are you putting your kid in the Babylonian indoctrination education system.

You teach them how to fight, but you don't put them in situations you know they will have to use it.

If bullying needs to have consequences then there needs to be an overhaul of what’s allowed on social media blogs. IE- TheShadeRoom comments.
Full of toxicity and bullying and any kid with a smart phone can access it.

I don't like telling parents how to raise their kids, but the school administration need to address school bullying!

School administration need to send letters to every student's home and state that there is a zero tolerance on bullying. Also, teachers need to be trained to identify and address any bullying in the classroom and playgrounds.

As for parents, proper home training goes a long way! Perhaps it may be in their best interest to promote positive self esteem training, teach their kids about their culture and enroll them in a martial arts school. If they can afford it, perhaps enroll their children in private school where academic is a priority.

Also, enroll kids in after school activities and it would be helpful if single parents had an amicable relationship with the other parent where both parents are involved in the children's lives...

Its on those individual social media blogs to police their comments. Its clear that they don't take it seriously because Muh eNGaGemeNt.

As for my future kids, if someone's dikkheaded son or daughter tries to interfere with my children's learning by bullying them, I would expect the school to take the grievance seriously and apply consequences. Otherwise, we're out.
