I don't find being nice to men beneficial at all...I mean ones that aren't true friends or family. Guys typically respond better when you're mean or just generally nonchalant.

I've been in the opposite situation to where I was spending too much time with female coworkers and friends. Like someone else said at some point you have to have that talk to establish boundaries. Can't expect to occupy so much of his time and get the GF treatment then get upset when he deads it and says it's too much. Or in one of my situations found out the woman had started catching feelings for me and that's why she wanted that space to not do her man dirty.
