It's pretty remarkable how quickly hispanic immigrants have changed the demographics of much of small town, white america. Even in the southeast, lots of towns that were "no go" for blacks since...forever have large hispanic populations now. I think hispanics and whites get along well and the newcomers will be absorbed without much conflict.
