I think Cudi does what Kayne "tries" to do as far as making more alternative Hip Hop.

I've heard all of Kayne's albums and all of Cudi's albums and I enjoy listening to Cudi's far more than I do Kayne's. Cudi makes far better music than Kayne.

I've been really late on the Cudi bandwagon as I had been on the Curren$y one, but Cudi is really one very talented artist.

I can remember when "Day N Nite" first came out and really feeling it but being hiestant to checking out the album because I thought the album might only have that one song on it that I liked and then when "Pursuit of Happyness" came out I was really hyped about the album but I still didn't want to check it out because I knew I really liked those songs so much and I didn't want to be disappointed. But man, was I wrong. MOTM 1 was everything I hoped it would be. Then once I got around to MOTM 2 and I was even more amazed along with Wizard and Indicud.

Dude makes really good music. And I like the fact that it really challenges the listener because with each album it's like an all new listening experience. It's one thing to experiment with new music and try new things and it not work but with Cudi it works. He always comes back with something new and fresh, even if it takes a while it to "get it".
