Obviously as an thunder fan I share some disappointment but I was thrilled at thinking of his next journey of going to potentially the celtics or somewhere to change the paradigm shift a bit. Rebuilding is fun true rebuilding because you go through so many lowpoints . Test your emotions as a fan. Being a fan has some serious peaks and lows, great part of sports Fandom

But as an NBA fan which I'm a huge junkie of... I watch more games of other teams then my own team. So with that said I'm severely disappointed. This might have been the weakest move that an NBA player has pulled in NBA history. Completely destroyed competition in the west , completely destroyed the structure behind the 82 game magic. Completely destroyed the competitiveness of a 7 game series in the west and imo destroyed the lure of it in the NBA period. The whole point of the modern NBA as an NBA fan is to watch the best players face each other in battles with rivalries , not team up to grab Robert Horry like rings. I understand it from a players standpoint but from an NBA fans standpoint why should I watch 82 games ? We might as well have 2 all star teams face each other for 82 games , that would be more fun. This aau shyt needs to stop .

As an NBA fan yes :umad:, but as an thunder fan I can care less

No worries brehs Cavs are gonna beat them in the Finals rubber match and next Free Agency teams will re-tool to have counter squads. And the T'Wolves and Bucks will be legitimate threats by then.

So when 3 "superstars" willingly formed a super team, decimating two teams that didn't shift the competitive balance, but one guy going to a great team that has thrashed the majority of the league for two seasons did? That makes perfect sense .

Even with KD going to GS it's still other great teams out west. Can't say the same about the East.

At least all the other player movement means that the league will be interesting regardless of who actually comes out on the top. Like @360Waves said next offseason is gonna see some more retooling and I doubt that either the Cavs or the Warriors can keep this for more than a couple years (even though my gut feeling tells me the Cavs have a better chance of doing so). In the meantime it's interesting to watch the other up and coming teams because they will be making moves in a couple seasons imo. Watching those teams (Wolves, Bucks, Pistons, Celtics...hopefully Knicks too :mjcry:) will be entertaining imo, even more "established" teams like the Spurs, Blazers...and other teams going all-young (Lakers, Sixers).

Next season could be one quite entertaining, despite not having as much competition at the top. But OKC's spot is up for grabs now.

Cavs better have more scorers than just lebron and kyrie. Warriors are hungry with KD and some added bigs willing to take pay cuts. Steph and co are gonna let shyt fly June 2017.

They teamed up to beat Boston, Kd just went to the team that beat him
