As long as Steve Kerr is coaching, the Cavs will be the favorite to win

I've said this many times, but Kerr is a mediocre coach. Yesterday's game was lost due to him continuing to run Steph Curry around like a 2-guard, taking him off the ball, to let guys like Draymond and Iggy run the offense late. Turnovers, bad shots, no lack of urgency when they have a lead are all reflections of coaching. :mjpls:

Basketball lesson for the casuals:

Steph Curry is not a shooting guard. Running him off double screens against Cleveland doesn't work because they can switch too easy. You let Steph handle the ball, attack, get doubled and find the open guy like he did with Klay when they got the lead. Casual fans will say "oh he has no heart; he's soft" when the Warriors offense, especially late, doesn't even put the ball in his hands. Kerr would rather let poor decision makers in the clutch like Draymond either throw the ball away or have the ball late in the shot clock where he can do nothing. :manny:

In before "but but but he has the highest winning percentage of all time tho"

But when bron had Mike brown it was bron the loser (also coach of the year could not last on a Kobe team some how he was not good enough for the mamba but someone had to win with him:troll:)

Wait the immortal Mike "back to back 60 win coach of the year" Brown is on the warriors coaching staff :wow:

you mean the guy who did another behind the back pass at a critical time? run point?
:troll:

btw that's not why.. he is one of the best off ball guard in the league.. between him and kyrie...

cavs just has the right pieces

btw Curry seems a bit pissed off too

The difference is kyrie doesn't run off screens all game especially late. Tyron Lue let him create plays yesterday and attack his man.

I saw the pick and roll with Steph and KD one time yesterday and they got a wide open layup. Go figure. Why you wouldn't do that late in the game? It's damn near unstoppable. It's just bad coaching; thinking your system is greater than the talent playing in it.

That point forward stuff with draymond and iggy is garbage. They aren't Lamar or Scottie especially in the clutch.

The two most low intangible, no adjustment making coaches in the history of the NBA on the same staff. Both are terrible. :scust:

Every time the Warriors lose and Curry has a terrible game his stans blame Kerr, the coach who turned them into champions in his first year and whose system got them the regular season win record in his second year. :stopitslime:

Couldn't be that Curry should stop trying behind the back passes in the 4th quarter huh..:francis:
