ASAP Rocky gets hate because he actually has charisma

In a genre that went from creative, charismatic and larger-than-life rappers to generic, sheltered squares and lames....the new cat that comes out the gate with authority in his voice, confidence and ambition in beat selection...

is gonna get haters.

With the exception of Lil B, NOBODY is fukking with Rocky in the charisma department. Haven't seen that kinda charisma from a new cat in several years. You can't blow up suddenly and sustain four years of interest in your music without being charismatic as fukk.

I imagine the haters are gonna come through and make their usual irrelevant comments, but the evidence is there.

I absolutely agree. Most people are conservative and enjoy conservative shyt. Fact of life.

I've always preferred unconventional stuff, especially as I've grown older.

Perhaps the age thing is irrelevant but I've just met a lot of older cats who don't like any new rapper except cats like Cole and Kendrick. However the amount I've met is obviously too small to generalize their opinions.

Neither of those cats are fukking with Rocky. Rocky has (or I should say 'had') a warmth about him, which I find necessary for charisma. Q and Tyler aren't warm people like that. Q seems like he forces his vocals and is naturally a quiet, withdrawn person.

but yes, both of them have more charisma than Drake/J Cole/Kendrick/Wale/Big Sean/Young Thug and whoever else these Coli cats stan.
