Im not sure what happened, but I've seen a few Asian people going at whites. Like the h mart shyt feels like the final straw, but they've been doing that shyt and most haven't given a shyt before now
What happened is in the last year black folks have largely walked away from fighting everyone's battles, because what have we ever gotten for it?

The subsequent fall out has other races stepping up and calling out the anti blackness and the c00ns in their communities, which they should've been doing decades ago

This is self preservation by proxy of placating and courtesying. Where was this analysis when they were marching and lobbying so that rice cac swine in NY could get off extrajudicial murder like crackers do? Tell them to apologize for that! Tell them exile that rice cac who teamed up with avaricious cacs to get DEI terminated. How convenient now it’s open season on all non-whites they decide to extend the proverbial olive branch

For engagement when they stop voting with whites then believe a shift is happening.

  • 42% of Asian American voters identify as Democrats (compared to 44% in 2020), 22% identify as Republicans (compared to 23% in 2020) and 31% identify as Independent (compared to 25% in 2020)

I see Asians the same way I see these Somalis/africans and Latinos. Been hating and undermining FBA for way too long. We’ve delineated and no longer getting on the front line and doing the kumbya stuff anymore :camby:

And they were just protesting for Peter Liang not too long ago :beli:

Some may speak on anti blackness and white supremacy, but the majority be on the racist wave

That's how it goes. It's always just a little too late when others finally open their eyes to what's been going on in their face the entire time. Black people never had to open their eyes or get a wake up call to the bullshyt, black folks get slapped in the fukking face with it so we have had no choice but to speak up and deal with it. Black people should have been stopped fighting other people's battles DECADES ago. The amount of progress that could have actually been made by making them have to fight their own battles would have been much greater than the bullshyt we got.

This one is very complex . This is where it helps to not put all Asian americans in a big Super Asian category. Culturally a lot of them can't stop voting red because of the USSR and communist regimes that ruined their lives in their home countries.

Id compare it to how black people (even those with substantial resources that would benefit from Republican tax policy) will never vote red because of the trauma from Republicans making our lives worse in the south.

For many Asian-Americans , a lot of the Democrat marketing messages about socialism really rub them the wrong way. Because of historical baggage a person like Bernie Sanders is literally the devil to a lot of them. For example, there is a huge rift within the Chinese community on how they vote because taiwanese despise anything remotely socialist because of the chinese communist party. A Cantonese Chinese from Hong Kong feel the same way because the socialist CCP ruined to their country. Conversely , Chinese Americans who are from the mainland are overwhelmingly democrat. There is a similar dynamic for the vietnamese under the vietkong or cambodians due to the atrocities of the khmer rouge. Evenly Laotians have a lot of baggage from both socialist and communist genocides.

It's the same reason that Cubans tend to vote red, and will never vote blue due to castro. Same for Nicaraguans and venezuelans.

But generally speaking the Asians without this ussr or communism baggage vote overwhelmingly blue. This includes South Asians like pakistanis or Indians, as well as Koreans and filipinos. Japanese-Anericans in particular are super blue because they all carry emotional baggage from the internment era where a super nationalist regime took everything from them(and Republicans remind them of this).
