It depends on his comorbidities and lifestyle. Yes I can confirm there is a strain of pheumonia that's been killing young people in South Florida. It comes in as a cold and then it aggressively attacks the lungs. On X Ray, air is supposed to be Black. The last guy I had who was only 35 had a full white lungs. Basically, no air inside his lungs at all. He caught a cold after he went partying at the club, he said. He was a fully functional kid with a job and he thought the cold was nothing. Then all of a sudden he got worse. Then. We found out the same virus attacked his heart, his kidneys and his liver. We reported all cases to Health department.
So the outcome for him might be very good because it sounds like he caught it early. However, things can change by the minute on ECCMO. Another good thing for him is that S Florida has plenty experts on ECCMO
