I find that hard to believe tho.

Because to me, they gave SD more cred by letting them keep the WWE World Title and then create a new one on the A-show, RAW. They know RAW is gonna be viewed as top dog anyway, so their title will automatially have prestige. Whereas creating a new one for SD would've been viewed as a lesser title.

Because it definitely makes sense for WWE to have a storyline Wellness Violation (never before done) on their top guy, take him off all shows, have people on screen shyt all over him the month he's out, then have him come back to drop multiple falls while people continue to openly shyt on him to his face, and then bounce him down to the mid card. No, its to rebuild Roman and try to slowly build him back up like they should've done in the first place. They refuse to turn him heel so this was the only other option regardless of the circumstances that caused it.

I think he would've went to SmackDown as WWE Champion to help establish the brand. Probably would've feuded with Clean Dean over it while Styles and Cena still had their program. The WWE probably would've had him drop the title to Dean on the SmackDown after Battleground for ratings purposes.
