Pierce definitely belongs on that list, he matched up extremely well against Lebron and arguably out-played Kobe on his way to an NBA title.

Well, first you've got the guys who were too young at the time to make it, and then you have some guys that just barely missed the OG list, so there's DEFINITELY 25 WORTHY candidates, it's just who exactly you want to take...
(clearly this is in no order)

Jason Kidd
Gary Payton
Dominique Wilkins
LeBron James
Allen Iverson
Dwyane Wade
Reggie Miller
Alex English
Adrian Dantley
Joe Dumars
Dennis Rodman
Kevin Garnett
Paul Pierce
Ray Allen
Kobe Bryant
Dirk Nowitzki
Steve Nash
Tim Duncan
Chris Webber
Tony Parker
Tracy McGrady
Vince Carter
Bob McAdoo
Dennis Johnson
Connie Hawkins
Spencer Haywood
Sidney Moncrief
Bob Lanier
Dan Issel

That's just off the top of my head, I'm sure there's 20 more cats who could make a claim.

Miller didnt make it the first go round? how could that be? or payton?

shaq is on there already i believe..
The list was made in 1996, IIRC, so Payton and Miller didn't yet have the resumes they ended up with.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Chris Bosh...in my opinion he's, at the very least, an equally important contributor as Wade has been in the Heat's playoff success.

Why did they slight Wilkins the first go round...?

Just wasn't enough room....50 years of history and they just couldn't fit him on there. I'm sure I would have found someone to take out, but then again I'm not a basketball historian.
