Cop it Breh I have one and love it here's an example my internet is 50 Mbps I get 58-62 Mbps on average and 65 Mbps peak ever since I got this router...I didn't even know a router could do shyt like that....plus it's future proofing yourself for the next few years.

It definitely helps depending on how far you are from your router and the density of your walls.

I always go wired on my desktop, so I never really had the reason for a crazy strong router...I barely go online with my vita as it is

Once you connect it to the modem get on your table or computer and before you can go to any website it will take you to the router set up site...it's real simple and quick takes about a minute or two to set up before your functioning you can also use it to have some items on 2.4 and others on 5mhz ranges...I'm impressed by this router.

Got a rock solid rt-n16 that has been serving me well for the past 3 or so years. This is a great deal, but I cant justify it.....

after getting both the PS4 and Xbox One from Best Buy i got enough reward points for a $50 certificate so screw it i'll use it on this router. since i got the older version i can just slide it in the other room and use it to hard wire my game consoles which aren't in the same room as the modem / router.

Is there really a need for this @winb83 ? , you would have to get an ac wifi card on your laptop/desktop, and will it make hat much of a difference really?....... I guess it depends if your place is that big but most of us should be ok with an n grade,


these newer corporate level routers are overkill especially if you don't have the speed to match it, besides that, almost all of the features you can get yourself by loading in the tomoato firmware

my computer that's in the other room without the modem has Wireless AC built into the motherboard but you'd want Wireless AC when you have this router but even if you don't have it its still like the best router currently on the market. there are better routers coming with 4 antennas but those will be priced at $299 and up. for $120 this router is a great deal. on top of that this one has a USB 3.0 port on it for an external 3.0 drive.
