Based on the DMs between the two, or lack thereof, Drake never built a rapport with the politician. 
No wonder he didn't show "loyalty". It's not like Jagmeet Singh was going to take a random rap beef personal. It wasn't even a California vs Canada beef. That's just some fans making it seem like that.
