At first I blamed NIL for ruining college football. But it’s actually schools.

Why is it that when the coaches (most white) were getting these big time contracts after abruptly leaving the schools no one said they were ruining college football, but when the help (most black) do it it’s a problem ?

It's always been a problem.

The size of these buyouts, college coaches being the highest paid state employees, etc. all trash

I don't think it's a racial thing, more that college fb being tied to academics is inherently flawed.

Players should have to stay for at least two years at a school. Every player can't be a free agent at the end of every season.

I'd be fine with players transferring after one year, however you get one auto transfer that can be used at any time. You also get one transfer you can only use if your team's coach gets fired, takes another job, or leaves the program for any reason.

Its been the schools. A few rabbits got guns now. People that were dependent on the old indentured servitude adjacent model are either unable or unwilling to adjust. If your system doesnt work with everybody involved, especially those that form the backbone, having rights and getting money then fukk your system :manny:
