Hulkamania at its peak was by far the biggest phenomenon in wrestling....Mid 80s Hogan was as popular as any athlete in the world...He could go anywhere in the world and be recognized...He was on SI covers and had his own saturday morning cartoon...

Hogan was as popular as Jordan and Tyson in his prime...

Hulk ain't even my era like that but yeah Stone Cold's hype wasn't seeing him like that.

Matter fact, that whole Attitude Era came and went very fast in comparison. Iconic but short lived looking back
AE was peaking for about 2 years
But in those 2 years WWF was every year

They damn near had merch for everything!!!

I'm not old enough for Hulkamania but like others have said it's a part of pop culture. I didn't even know Stone Cold was comparable and he's my era of childhood wrestlers.

Hulk easily .

Before the :mjpls: came into full circle, I was a Hulkamaniac . His run from 83-91 was insane and iconic :wow:

Stone Cold' s run was good but he never was the Pop icon like Hulkkk was.

Prime Hulkamania was really 84-88 and theres nothing in wrestling that will ever touch that kind of pop again...

fukk Hogan all day but you can't deny his wave was enormous on a scale never before seen in pro wrestling. If he wasn't such a POS he could've gotten into politics like Jesse the Body.
