my 30GB base is $130 ... 5*15 for phones and 3*10 for tablets.. that's 245 then my NYC discount (-24.70) = 245-24.70 = 211.30

vs 85 + 8*20 .. = 245 .. but not discount .. . now I could remove 2 of the tablets... 1 still in contract.. then that's 205 .. plus autopay so its 195 (but I hate autopay sometimes) ...


this is all base .. next, insurance, caller id, whatever else extra my wife has is not included

they need to keep the device charges the same (15/phone and 10/ tablet) ..

I don't usually exceed 10-13 gb a month max then it rolls over ... unlimited isn't cheaper for me... DAMN

Still not cheaper, but your math is off here. You might add a third person (moms, grandma) and get them to kick you like $50. That way the unlimited is cheaper and they win too.

Also, why are you losing the discount? I have a 25% corporate discount that's carrying over.

So this is weird, basically if had the plan from a week ago, it'll take the discount off of your $60, base. If you changed it since it wont include the discount.

me, wife, kid, kid, mother inlaw ... this is my bill .. AND I got 3 tablets... my numbers are from att web .. I was doing the comparison and this is what I got... I know the unlimited would be a better deal ..but based on my usage its not technically cheaper..

but try to help a bro understand where I'm off with my numbers...

your numbers may be right. i was simply saying what you put in your post (245-24.70 = 211.30) was not mathematically correct. I also think you're right that though it may not be cheaper, the unlimited might be more value for you. plus, you never know when they switch it up again and stop unlimited. you'll be grandfathered in.

now you see my dilemma ... its is worth paying 30 more for a better value and an potential grandfather .. or wait till the summer and maybe they'll reevaluate their numbers
