I already told you. The Hardware in the PS4 & especially the XB1 ain't good enough to play games in Native 4K. The appropriate hardware needed is too expensive for a game console, it's hardware you'd use in a top of the line gaming PC. The cloud is not gonna make up for the lack of GPU & CPU power needed to play native 4K.

Oh snap! David Cage, the man who helmed Heavy Rain, says that Microsoft’s debut video for Project Natal at E3 2009 stretched things a little bit in order to present an impressive video.

“I’ve seen Natal, and I’m really curious to see what they’re going to do with it. I was a bit frustrated that they presented it with a sci-fi-type presentation. When the kid comes in with the skateboard and the laser ray, scanning the skateboard, and then it’s in the game… [*rolls eyes*] We are in the industry; we know what’s feasible and what’s not.

“I thought it was a little bit lying to present it that way because it will let [consumers] think that they will [see] something that they are not really close to getting.”

You can re-view last year’s video above and decide for yourself – obviously some parts are just for effect, but I thought it was fairly clear as to what’s realistic, and what was simply a visualization of what can be done.

What made this a comedy is the fact Kinect did let you scan things into games that allowed it. Skate 3 had it, Kinect Fun labs had a bunch of games that required you to scan whatever into the game. So I guess he was just being a sony puppet I guess

At this time they was also claiming that PS3 games would run in native 1080p. Microsoft is saying games will be able to output in 4K on Xbox One while sony says PS4 will not.

Will Microsoft deliver?

Just the promise of native 1080p gaming, that was sony's way of making people of xbox's power. Til this day its thought by plenty that it is more powerful/etc.
And one of those reasons is that only sony can do Tru HD. They did more than just say it once. They was pushing hardcore for it. The fact it never happened makes this funny...

Even though most gamers won't be able to take advantage of the insane resolutions 1080p provides on high-end HDTVs, Sony's been adamant about supporting the feature -- which only recently became part of Microsoft's plans. While 1UP was visiting Sony's Tokyo offices, Phil Harrison, president of their Worldwide Studios division, he proudly pointed to six playable games running in 1080p at this year's Tokyo Game Show.

Lair, Mobile Suit Gundam , Virtua Tennis 3 , Gran Turismo HD , Ridge Racer 7 and NBA '07 (which is not playable on the TGS show floor, but featured at Sony's private event) are all currently running in 1080p, and Sony expects the number only to increase going forward. Games like Resistance: Fall of Man, for example, are aiming for 1080p support at launch, but have so far refrained from guarantees.

Only Virtual Tennis 3 ended up being native from that list

I hear you, and I know its not gonna be an easy journey. I know I shouldn't expect native 4K Halo. More like 4K Tetris and shyt like that. But what do I know? Reality is I don't know shyt when it comes to what the Xbox One will or will not be able to do. Same goes for YOU tho. All we both know is Microsoft didn't say just upscale, they said Native. Went out there way to throw that in there. I know Microsoft, they don't usually just throw around bullshyt like that. Thats more of a sony move from my experience. Now if sony said what M$ said and vice versa? You guys would bring it up every chance you get. Real question, are you qualified to say what it cannot do?

A fanboy sees everything in "fanboy vision" so what you see here is actually hurting your heart. If you logged off every once in a while those symptoms would start to go away :shake: The thread title is "we are all idiots" because we all fell for it. I stopped falling for it sooner than others. Plenty still fall for it
Anywayz, if you look at what I posted, its all valid. It is PS3 centric but thats ONLY because I am struggling to find stuff Xbox claimed and then faked on. I did expect you guys to pick up that slack, I'm sure most of you did like you do in every thread on this site. And you came to the same dead ends I did (Tru Story)
