If we're talking about "at their best", why are so many people posting stuff about Kobe's Shaq sidekick years and Lebron's first run in Cleveland?

At their prime, we're talking Lebron 2012-2014 and Kobe 2008-2010.

Going strictly by the numbers, in that window Lebron was better at the rim, better at threes, just as good at midrange, better defender, better rebounder, better distributor.

They both went to three straight finals and won two rings, though Bron was a lot more impressive in the process.

By accomplishments, Lebron won 2 MVPs and was 2nd to Durant the other year, while Kobe won one MVP (a bit of a career achievement award) and was 2nd and 3rd the other two, behind not-yet-prime Lebron.

By eye test, in 2012-2014 (hell, 2006-2016), Lebron simply looked like the best player in the court, in the league, in almost every meaningful series he played with the single exception of Dallas 2011. Whereas Kobe was eclipsed repeatedly no matter what era you measure him in.

Real debate is kobe vs jordan
Lebron is ppippen status

Kobe did it by himself his rings mean something
Lebetas rings will have the same value as durants when he wins one

Did it by himself :mjlol:

3 FMVPs went to Shaq :mjlol:

Maybe Kobe should have played better in the finals :lolbron:

Not everyone can lead both teams in every stat though :wow:

Or be one of the best elimination game performers of all time :wow:
