interesting if you said what album of the two coming next i would keep it would most likely be nas easily but i would rather hear some jay-z verses than nas verses in 2016 because beats and songs as a whole in hiphop been garbage.

nas is boring and not putting much effort, jay never been top tier but the unintential comedy i get from a jay-z verse is way more interesting and Jay can still go in but his tmz gwntyh paltrow basquait gimmick raps are hilarious. also its more important from a hiphop angle to listen to a new jay album because to all these up and coming rappers jay-z is a god and you see where shyt may go before they do on a jay-z album (im listening for verses tho)

i heard a few life is good tracks on youtube this nas aint for me but obviously in years time i will check em out maybe but i havent even heard some tracks on untitled, these guys just aint dope like that.

with that said i havent heard a full Jay album since like black album because dude is trash and a horrible dude to listen to as a man, but i have heard his major verses over the years and it will be more interesting than nas's.

jays verse and the whole song but jay verse, on 'drunk in love' is the wackest shyt ever :scusthov:

wheres the option for NEITHER?

I'm not into dragging the corpses of :flabbynsick: rappers.

i'll say this tho: LIG was a step up from the stuff nas was doing the previous 10 years before it.

Nas. That Timbo snippet is enough to generate interest in whatever Nas's cooked up.

With Jay Z, at this point, I'd like to see him do one more album with a grittier sound. Some production from The Hitmen (something like "Everyday" from Puff's MMM), The Alchemist (they've never worked together that I can recall), Havoc (they've never worked together that I can recall either), Just Blaze, Jake One, with usual suspects like Timbaland and Pharrell thrown into the mix. Nothing commercial though, just some more of the "Come And Get Me" and "La La La" type productions from them.

If they deliver good projects then why not?
Jay has delivered on certain occasions, but Nas gave us a super solid album with LIG. It's not as if hiphop is overflowing with albums of that caliber. I mean LIG was better than all Coles albums and people go nuts for a new Cole album.

Jay needs to do one last album before he turns 50. MCHG was pretty good but as a fan I don't want that to be his last album. I don't want to hear him rapping beyond 50 either. I'd be comfortable with him grooming other artists and making other ventures pop.
