At what age did you feel uncomfortable using the latest slang.

Coli brehs be mid 40s, with double D titties, balding spots all over the place and making threads talkinbout “rizz”

nikka then had the gall turn around and say he’s the cool uncle and he’s hip when I told him that shyt looks crazy

You don’t need to chase teenager slang to be cool and hip, that’s exactly what flabby people do

Adopting new slang is crazy.

expecially because all the coolest old heads i know still use their classic slang from the 70s and i always thought that was cool. like a time capsule of charisma

I got an uncle that still be on that 70s slang

Can you dig it?
Catch ya on the flip side
Whats the skinny on that cat?

It almost feels nostaligic listening to him. you better off holding on to your era's slang than trying to keep up with the kids,

When “on fleek” “thot” and “bae” were new/being used, I tapped out of adding new slang to my repertoire
I was working in 2016 with an older woman. Probably early 50’s. She asked me if her eyebrows were on fleek? I said what was that? She said I was lame.

Who started that shyt?

I’m 43 and use the newest slang all the time. Bussin, gyatt, twin , period, bet, cap, sweeaarrr, on god

Only around nieces, nephews, friends kids

They get embarrassed with a smile or laugh

Yall coli brehs take it way to serious

Some of those aren’t new. Especially “bet”, by the way.

And there’s a reason why you only use those words around the kids in your family to provoke lighthearted embarrassment/laughter from them (and it provokes those reactions for a reason). That’s cool. You being playful with your peoples.

This thread is not about that, I don’t think

When regional slang stopped being regional.

The Internet got everyone constantly talking exactly the same, so all of that shyt gets OD'ed.

You constantly hear it from Coli to Twitter to baby formula ads. Every now and then I gotta check my cousins like: "stop talking like the Internet:scust:"
