Let me start off by saying that I'm 23, been living on my own for the most part since 18. But now with a full year out of college under my belt I realize I really don't know shyt about life.

I don't know anything about taxes other than the man takes them (My mom does them for me :whoa: only because she's an accountant and a beast at it)

I've been renting an apartment for four years and starting to look for a house but I don't know a thing about a mortgage. And now the commercials talking about reverse mortgages :wtf:

I know a fair share on credit but I'm really not too knowledgable on it

Stocks and investments for the most part sound like a foreign language to me

So what age did you fully start getting a grasp on living life in America?

Young Grass hopper...you know more than what I knew at 23. Only thing I knew was to pay my taxes. The most valuable lesson in life is the one you have yet to learn. Always be a student and take note when someone with wisdom shares life experience jewels with you. I started to grasp living life in America around 28, I visited the country I was born and realized holy shyt, the people there would die to be in my shoes. With that said, surround yourself with people who have goals and cut the negative people out your life. Success is psychological. Peace

Every time I feel like I have things figured out, I make it a point to see my father and my uncles..
I swear its like a level up on a video game every time I sit around them nikkas drinkin and playin dominoes, so much game at one lil table :wow:

Being around older people will show you an entirely different perspective and have you back at square 1 with a new challenge/goal in mind, your peers will all be similar to you so you won't truly grow by being around them.

Nobody knows about 'life.' Nobody knows shyt. You just think you do because you've been using your aging days as relevance. We won't ever know anything about life until about 200-300 years in the future and we'll be far dead.

There's always more to understand in life, but I would say that I broke the threshold from "naive" to being "aware" around 20. I find it to be an interesting point in my life because it coincided with me losing my virginity and getting high for the first time....it's like a third eye just instantly opened
