13 is the perfect age to allow them to start having more privacy and agency. You should always have access to their web history and any online associates they have.

Adults, Full blown old ass ninjas who been through things, cant handle the internet. Are fooled by it.

if it were up to me, then never. Bring back encyclopedia and these academic journals as a replacement. Not more tariq and them gay hodge twins
I think the goal should be to get them involved in enough activities so their passionate about something and stay involved in real life

15, although what I have in mind isn't giving them unrestricted access.

I think the danger of waiting until they're 18 is losing the ability to teach them constraint.

At the age of 15, you still have enough control over them to pump the brakes should they start fukking up. The general idea I have in mind is to give the freedom to make the right choice. If they start spending an unreasonable amount of time on the internet and I notice a change in their behaviour for the worse, the restrictions come back.

The hope is that freedom of me not breathing down their neck will positive reinforce good practice.
